Young Australians Forging Friendships in Thailand

Girton Grammar has a long history of multicultural integration, hosting students from Japan, Ireland and France and promoting a school culture that celebrates diversity and encourages opportunities for interaction with schools globally.

As part of their travels, the Girton students, accompanied by two teachers, spent time at the Pattaya Orphanage and also at the CPDC. They chose to stay at the Redemptorist Center in Pattaya, instead of at a hotel, giving them the opportunity to experience the true lifestyle, food and culture of Thai people.

The students enjoyed themselves getting to know the children of Pattaya Orphanage and CPDC as they participated in playing games such as football and soccer as well as just spending time making friends and getting to know one another.

We were delighted to spend time with our visitors and thank them for making the journey to visit us in Thailand.
