Pre-Christmas evening reception

The residence was strung with fairy lights and had a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. The Mahidol Univeristy performed a collection of German and French carols and created a joyfull christmas atmosphere. The dirndl wearing waitresses served stollen, bratwurst buns, baked apples and all other manner of finger foods. It was lovely to see all the children so at ease, enjoying the food and playing in the grounds of the residence.

Human Help Network and the CPDC had the oportunity to present themselves and inform the attending people about their work with an information stand. The guests showed a remarkable interest in the children and life at the CPDC, many of them giving generous contributions to the evenings donation.

The German Ambassador, Dr Schumacher, continues to be an important donor for the CPDC. With his help, the CPDC has built several houses and with the money raised from this event, which he organised, we can continue our child protection work.

Human Help Network Foundation Thailand would like to give heartfelt thanks to everybody who made this wonderful evening possible.
