After a warm opening by President Rodney James Charman, the Big Band “Big to the Future” welcomed the guests with two lovely versions of the national anthems of Thailand and the Netherlands. In the following all guests were welcomed and some special guests were introduced by Jan Abbink, Vice President of the Rotary Club Eastern Seaboard and one of the main organisers of this wonderful evening.
As one of the evening´s highlights some of the children from the CPDC, from the Pattaya orphanage and from the HHN ASEAN Education and Drop-in Center performed several beautiful shows, in which they sang and danced for the gathered guests. After their performances the children got wonderful Christmas gifts from Santa Clause himself.
During the evening the Big Band “Big to the Future” performed two delightful jazz sets, while the guests had the chance to enjoy interesting conversations, dancing and a delicious buffet. Even the staff of the Siam Bayshore Resort participated in the party by performing three lovely Christmas Songs. Later in the evening the big raffle prize draw took place, where everybody could win wonderful prizes.
The evening was enjoyed by everybody who attended. Once again we want to say “thank you” for a beautiful Christmas party.
